PROTECT A. is communicative via its intelligent RS 232 interface - all UPS functions are permanently monitored and made available in the form of measurement values and messages. Together with CompuWatch shutdown software, leading operating systems will be automatically shutdown in an orderly fashion when a power failure persists over a longer period of time.
The straightforward design and frontpanel LEDs informs unmistakably about important aspects of operational status. Generally simple handling is complemented with an acoustic alarm, remote turn-off function, and automatic 50/60 Hz power detection.
Model power ratings of 500, 700 and 1000 VA ensure that an optimal performance choice is available. The battery guarantees voltage when line power fails.
